FIM Rallye und FIM Rendez-Vous Meritum 2021 ABGESAGT

Aus den bekannten Gründen (Covid-19) mussten 2021 die beiden Veranstaltungen abgesagt werden. Eine Verschiebung auf nächstes Jahr ist nicht möglich, da die Organisatoren der beiden Events für 2022 bereits seit längerem feststehen.

Rallye

The International Motorcycle Federation (FIM) and the Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI) are disappointed to announce the cancellation of the 2021 FIM Rally, originally scheduled in Soverato (RC) from 2 to 4 June

The FIM and the FMI were forced to make this tough decision given the uncertain evolution of the vaccination campaign in Italy and Europe. An uncertainty that has led many foreign motorcyclists refraining from registering for the 75th edition of the event, which would have taken place in full compliance with COVID-19 regulations.

A painful and difficult decision, which however does not prevent the FMI from looking to the future with optimism and strong commitment. The Italian Motorcycle Federation has already been entrusted with the organisation of the most prestigious FIM international motorcycle touring event for 2024, following on from the 2022 and 2023 editions scheduled to be held in Poland and Spain respectively. Precisely out of respect for the national federations of these two countries, which have already formalised their candidacies to host the event, the FMI has decided to re-propose the FIM Rally in Italy for 2024.

Meritum

The Commission for Touring and Leisure (CTL) and International Motorcycle Federation (FIM) regret to announce the cancellation of the 2021 FIM Rendez-Vous Meritum, originally scheduled in Faaker-See Austria, from 9 to 11 June.
 
The legal restrictions in force today in Austria, as well as the health recommendations, do not allow the timely obtaining of the necessary authorisations to hold the event.
For the respect that motorcyclists and all those who relate to us deserve, we regret to announce that the minimum necessary conditions are not met and therefore we are not able to maintain this event.
The organizers were ready to go all the way and carry out another edition of this memorable event. We sincerely appreciate their dedication and work.
To the participants we are very sorry to announce another cancellation of an event, but your health and comfort is very important for us (CTL/FIM and Organizers).
